Complimentary resident tickets for Forbidden Forest 2022

The Parish Council has received 25 complimentary resident tickets for the 'Forbidden Forest 2022' festival, which takes place at Belvoir Castle this weekend.

If you would like a ticket, please email Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis for residents of Long Clawson, Hose and Harby.

Ordinary Parish Council Meeting - 20th June at Long Clawson Village Hall

You are invited to the Ordinary Parish Council meeting, to be held on Monday 20th June 2022 at Long Clawson Village Hall.

The Ordinary Meeting will start at 7pm but be postponed for 15 minutes should any member of the public, Borough/County Councillor or Police representative wish to discuss any matter with, or give a report to, the Parish Council.

Neighbourhood Watch - April 2022 Newsletter

Hello and welcome to the April issue.

Whilst crime prevention is a key driver for Neighbourhood Watch, we have been uniquely embedded in communities for 40 strong years, perfectly positioning us to be a gateway between individuals and the support they need to enable them and their communities to thrive. As a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator recently said 'Neighbourhood Watch is the bridge between the community and the police, and the gateway is us the Coordinators connecting, sharing information, communicating and making people feel confident.'. As we draw nearer to Neighbourhood Watch Week (30th May - 5th June), the Month of Community, and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee also in June, this edition focuses on ways we can improve our community health and wellbeing.
