CAR PARK CLOSURES - 21st December - Harby & Long Clawson

Posted: Sat, 12 Dec 2020 10:00 by Claire Buckle

On Monday 21st December, the Parish Council Contractors will be working in the Sands Car Park, Long Clawson, to remove and replace the 'mobility impaired' car park markings that are currently unclear and in poor condition and also the Leys Car Park in Harby to create some designated spaces. More »

This work involves the use of heat guns and high pressure air so the contractors recommend that cars are not parked close to where they are working.

To help with this we shall be coning off and closing a large part of the car park on Sunday 20th December and would thank you in advance of your help with making sure that the car park is clear of cars.

The work should only take a couple of hours and the car park will be reopened as soon as is practicable after the work is completed as we appreciate that parking in the centre of both villages is sometimes difficult. » Less
